On the occasion of the publication of China Perspectives' special issue on urbanism entitled Urban Planning in China: Concepts, Actors, and Projects, guest-edited by Nicolas Douay, the Observatoire de la Chine invites its contributors in Paris on May 30th for a seminar on urbanism in China: Carine Henriot, Associate Professor in urban and spatial planning at the University of Technology of Compiègne, Martin Minost, PhD candidate in social anthropology and ethnology at the School for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS), Guilia C. Romano, associated doctor at the Centre de Recherches Internationales of Sciences Po (CERI), Lély Tan, doctoral research student at Aix-Marseille University and Martin Tzou, architect and urban planner based in China.

Moderator: guest-editor Nicolas Douay, Associate Professor in urbanism at Paris-Diderot University, currently at the French Centre for Research on Contemporay China. The seminar will be held in French.
