The economic turmoil erupted in 2007 in the OECD countries has its roots in what happened to world oil production in 2005.  More broadly, the fantastic economic growth the world has witnessed since the industrial revolution is largely generated by fossil fuels  What economic future can we foresee when climate change and supply issues threaten the Industrial Civilization based on such fuel ?
