Doctor in Political Science. Dissertation: “Defining Citizenship for Migrant Workers in Urban China. The Chengdu Experience”.

Research Fellow at the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China from September 2003 to February 2007: currently lecturer at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations, department of Chinese studies, Paris.

Research topics:

 

-Political sociology of internal migrations, labor issues.
-Chinese regime’s transition (with particular focus on questions related to rule of law, civil society, NGOs and social movements).
-History of political ideas in China and the West.
