【Registration Open｜Contextualising Taiwanese Language Cinema】
Dr. Corrado Neri, Director of CEFC Taipei and Professor at Jean Moulin University Lyon 3, will deliver a special lecture exploring how Taiwanese-language cinema, once lost and now rediscovered, finds its place in contemporary film and cultural studies.
This talk is inspired by the newly published volume Taiwanese-Language Cinema: Rediscovered and Reconsidered (EUP, 2024), co-edited by Chris Berry (King’s College London), Wafa Ghermani (National Central University), Corrado Neri (Jean Moulin University Lyon 3), and Ming-yeh T. Rawnsley (SOAS University of London).
