The EATS Taiwan Chapter and CEFC Taipei are pleased to co-organize the workshop “Keywords across Disciplines”, a one-day symposium bringing together scholars working on Taiwan from different disciplinary, linguistic, and methodological perspectives. The workshop reflects on how key concepts shape Taiwan Studies, how they circulate across fields and languages, and how they may be rethought through interdisciplinary and translingual dialogue.

Bringing together contributions from digital humanities, chip governance, film archives, ocean studies, VOC history, VR/XR, interactive performance, migration studies, and education, the workshop approaches Taiwan Studies as a collaborative and evolving field grounded in Taiwan’s experiences while open to broader transnational debates. The programme will also include a student panel featuring MA research in Taiwan Studies.
